It’s a Saturday, and I probably won’t be home around the time when I would normally post a chapter, so you’ll get this one a bit early today!

Also, for those of you not familiar with my writing/posting style, a few points: this story is already complete and has ten chapters total; I’m just posting one chapter a day until it’s done. There will be at least one more story in this series. That story will not be posted until it is also finished; it may have 10 chapters, but I’ve left myself enough breadcrumbs that I could either make it a longer third story or a normal third story and then have room for a fourth. Haven’t decided yet. We’ll see how it goes when I try to actually write it (am still in planning stages).

So yeah. This story has gremlins. I don’t even. Ah well.

It doesn’t seem to want to work over at FFnet, but sometimes it does and i can’t figure out why exactly that is. There doesn’t appear to be a rhyme or reason to it. And here? It got all sorts of strange. Anyway. Moving on.

Today’s chapter is a doozy. You might want some tissues handy. I do, and I wrote the thing.

One of the many nice things about having a story fully written before you start posting it is that you can, if you have a wordpress blog, schedule it to post for you. If FFnet had something like that, I’d be all sorts of tickled. (To be fair, maybe they do? S’been ages since I poked through the site.)

All 10 chapters of The King’s Telepath have been uploaded here. They’re all scheduled to post at noon, one per day, until the story’s done. In fact, if you go to the story’s page, you’ll notice that each chapter is already linked. (And yes, the chapters are named, which could be considered spoilery. So if you don’t want to be spoiled, don’t click the link!)

This is how things will go down. Each day, noon central time, a chapter will go live. If you want to read it as soon as it’s live, go to the story’s page and clicky-clicky. I’ll get home from work a few hours later, write up the A/N for it if necessary, make it go live on FFnet, and post about it here and Twitter with links all around.

I’m probably making this all sound more complicated than it really is. But with the way things are set up, if I go on vacation to a secluded island with no internet tomorrow? You can still read the rest of the story and it’ll all be happypants. I did think about scheduling the announcement posts as well, but that’s entirely too much work for today, considering how much I’ve already done. Wooga.

New Story: The King’s Telepath

The King’s Telepath, sequel to The Queen’s Telepath, is finished.

Here’s the first chapter: The Prologue.

This is a sequel to The Queen’s Telepath. I’d love it if you could enjoy this one as a standalone piece, but in all honesty, there’s going to be a lot of stuff you won’t get if you haven’t already read TQT.

If you haven’t read The Queen’s Telepath, seriously, please go read it before you read this. It’s only 10 chapters, and it’s pretty awesome. I know I’m biased, but it really doesn’t suck. Promise.
